Anthony Smith Sr., program director for the Department of Navy's Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) Program, provides opening remarks during the Navy's HBCU/MI Naval Opportunity Awareness Workshop at Florida A&M University in 2017. The Navy's HBCU/MI program is designed to increase the participation of HBCU/MIs in the Navy's research, development, test and evaluation programs and activities.
