Die Auflösung von α-Synuclein-Amyloid-Fibrillen beruht auf der Kooperation des Hsp70-Chaperons mit seinen Co-Chaperonen DNAJB1 und HSP110. Diese Kooperation ermöglicht die Erkennung der Fibrillen und die korrekte Assemblierung der Hsp70-Disaggregations-Maschinerie auf der Oberfläche der Fibrillen, wodurch eine produktive Disaggregation ermöglicht wird.
