Senescent cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in ascites of gastric cancer patients (IMAGE)
Caption

A: Researchers investigated the cellular senescence and secretion of senescence-related proteins in the ascites of gastric cancer patients and found that CAFs secrete more senescence-related proteins and promote cancer progression than other (cancer and blood) cells.

B: Senescent CAFs secrete more senescence-related proteins than non-aging CAFs.
