Mowed Field (IMAGE) Penn State Caption Agricultural researchers are advising extra caution when using herbicides dicamba and 2,4-D, which are frequently involved in herbicide-drift accidents. The researchers recommend spraying low-volatility blends, using a nozzle design that reduces the chances of drifting and applying the herbicides on less windy days, if possible. Credit J.
