Caption: A：雄しべで作られた花粉が、雌しべ先端に受粉し、伸長した花粉管が雌しべ内を通過し、胎座上にある胚珠に向かう。 　　　　　B：花粉管は胚珠に含まれる助細胞から分泌される誘引物質により誘引され受精に至るが、そのためには花粉管が誘引物質に応答できる能力を獲得することが必要である。
