The combined approach of a Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) and transcranial magnetic stimulation used in this study, showing a different, more advanced robot device. Delivering brain stimulation and robotic motor feedback simultaneously during rehabilitation may be beneficial for patients who have lost voluntary muscle control.
