Figure 1 shows the results of a series of experiments, which compared Pepsi-SAXS with two of the currently used computational methods by applying them to the same sample (SASDAW3) from the SASBDB database. Average scattered intensity is plotted as a function of the scattering angle. The error χ² of the computational model is the lowest in the case of Pepsi-SAXS, which results from a more precise representation of the hydration shell.
