Boston Public Schools high school students are working with Boston College associate professor of education Michael Barnett, using innovative indoor gardening technology to grow produce to sell at neighborhood farmers' markets. With a $1.2 million National Science Foundation grant, Barnett, BC colleagues and community organizations will work with 1,000 students to advance science education and teach social entrepreneurship.
