Structure of cell-to-cell communication channels (Connexin-46/50) resolved at 1.9 Å resolution by the Reichow Lab, using electron cryo-microscopy (CryoEM). This work provides a view of these communication channels (white), as well as ordered water molecules (red) and surrounding lipids (blue), with near-atomic level detail for the first time.
