ASU Poll: Southwesterners Favor US Guarantee of Health Insurance for Its Citizens (IMAGE)

When asked their position on the United States government guaranteeing health insurance for all citizens, even if it means raising taxes, 53 percent of Southwesterners "strongly" or "somewhat" favored the move, while 40 percent "somewhat" or "strongly" opposed such a guarantee, according to the latest Arizona State University-Southwest Poll conducted by the Institute for Social Science Research in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
