微小な血管構造を作製するため、シリコーンゴムの一種ポリジメチルシロキサン（PDMS）で微小流路チップを作製しました。PDMSチップに微小な針（直径200マイクロメートル）を通してコラーゲンゲルを入れ、針を引き抜くことで微小な流路を形成します。
