These two images of Super Tropical Cyclone Fantala were taken from the VIIRS instrument aboard NOAA-NASA's Suomi NPP satellite on April 17. A night-time view (left) and infrared view (right) that shows the most powerful storms and coldest cloud tops in the storm's eyewall.
