スリット蛋白質を用いた脳梗塞後の神経細胞の移動促進

左：正常脳。中央：脳梗塞後の脳。アストロサイトが活性化して増殖・肥大化する。神経細胞はスリット蛋白質を使って活性化アストロサイトをかき分けて傷害部へ向かって移動するが、スリット蛋白質が不足するため十分に移動できずに停止し、運動機能も回復しない。右：スリット蛋白質の産生を増やす処置をした神経細胞。傷害部の近くまで移動して成熟し、運動機能の改善を導く。
