This image shows the rapid loss of cold conditions producing frost- and snow-related land surface processes in northernmost Europe. The maps show the change in overlapping suitable conditions for the processes in current (left) and future climate (right) over the time period of 2040-2069. This assumes a moderate emission scenario (RCP4.5).
