Figure 3 shows representative signal changes of localized field potential (LFP), NO, and CO responding to epileptic seizures simultaneously monitored at the brain layer 5 within brain cortical tissue. Three stages of seizures, initiation, propagation, and termination, were marked with vertical dashed lines.
