Many domesticated rock pigeons have the following four coloration patterns on their wings with different amounts of pigmentation: the darkest "T-check" pattern (top left), the slightly less dark "checker" pattern (top right), the ancestral "bar" pattern (bottom left) , and the lightest "barless" pattern (bottom right).
