<i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i> DNA Sequenced in the Wild with New Tech

The white flowering Arabidopsis thaliana was successfully DNA sequenced by Kew Scientists during their ground breaking research into field plant identification using hand held technology, the MinION. This was then compared to a similar plant, the Arabidopsis lyrata ssp. petraea.
