薄膜（厚さ約1マイクロメートル）を毛細管周囲にコーティングしたもの。レーザー光は毛細管のあらゆる部分にコーティング可能（白い矢印）。薄膜コーティングによりさらに微小なマイクロレーザーの作製を実現。
