When scientists test drugs, vaccines and other therapies in mice and then in humans, they often get different results. But now, researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis have found that the problems aren't explained only by the the obvious differences between mice and people. Their findings also point to the very clean surroundings in which laboratory mice live.
