Maternal commitment to caring: this video shows a mother Ikakogi tayrona tolerating an escalating series of repeated disturbances during egg care. We found similar disturbance-tolerance by brooding mothers in Cochranella granulosa & Teratohyla pulverata, but non-brooding females tolerated very little disturbance before fleeing.
