Drainage via stratification of micellar foam film (VIDEO)
Caption
Drainage via stratification of micellar foam film formed by an aqueous SDS solution, visualized in reflected light microscopy. Each shade of gray corresponds to a different thickness. Stratification proceeds via nucleation of thinner darker domains, and number of steps increases with concentration, whereas step-size decreases with concentration.
