Drainage via stratification of micellar foam film formed by an aqueous SDS solution, visualized in reflected light microscopy. Each shade of gray corresponds to a different thickness. The in-plane dimensions are in microns, but thickness variations are in nanometers, and can be converted into topographical maps using IDIOM protocols.
