Wiring diagram of a graphene-based terahertz detector: terahertz radiation hits the antenna connected to the left (source) and top (gate) terminals of a transistor. This generates direct photocurrent (or a constant voltage, depending on the measurement setup) between the left and right terminals, which is a measure of radiation intensity.
