Georgia Tech biomedical engineering associate professor May Dongmei Wang led a team that developed two software programs to improve the process of identifying cancer biomarkers from gene expression data. The programs recently received silver-level compatibility certification from the NIH/National Cancer Institute's cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid.
