A photo of Dr. Lisa Beal being interviewed by Dutch radio during a rendezvous between Research Vessel Knorr and Clipper Stad Amsterdam off the African Cape. RV Knorr was returning to Cape Town after deploying current meter moorings across the Agulhas Current during the first cruise of the Agulhas Current time-series experiment. Clipper Stad Amsterdam was re-sailing the voyage of the Beagle, on which Darwin collected specimens from around the world and derived his theory of evolution.
