We've seen a number of studies in recent years suggesting that teenagers today are taking far fewer risks than their parents and grandparents did. They're drinking less, smoking less and most are waiting longer to have sex. Now washington university researchers have found that for more than a decade, teens have been far less likely to abuse alcohol, nicotine and illicit drugs, while also being less likely to engage in delinquent behaviors like fighting and stealing. And the researchers say those declines appear to be connected. Jim dryden has the story...
