Shifting the Immune Balance toward Regulatory T-Cells (Tregs)

After transplantation, the immune system generally shifts toward effector T cells. Shifting the balance toward Tregs by turning on a gene called DEPTOR could help prevent transplant rejection, and perhaps curb autoimmune disorders.
