Survival in Male Rett Mice Rises Significantly with Experimental Drugs (IMAGE)
Caption
Relatively few boys born with MECP2 mutations leading to Rett syndrome survive. In male mice that model Rett (they lack the MECP2 gene), median survival rises from around 50 days in animals not treated with CSHL/Tonks Lab's experimental drugs, CPT157633 and UA0713, to around 75 days and 90 days, respectively, after a course of treatment with each of these compounds.
