Nickel, an adult female; and Jumkin, an adolescent male, share plant food at the Fongoli research site in Senegal of Jill Pruetz, an ISU anthropology professor. Pruetz and ISU graduate student Stacy Lindshield have now published the first study to document non-meat sharing behavior among chimps in the journal Primates.
