受精後4日目の野生型ゼブラフィッシュの胚（上）とBANP欠損型ゼブラフィッシュの胚（下）。BANP欠損型の胚は野生型に比べ目が小さい（赤矢印）。黒矢印で示した部分では、中脳の最上部である視蓋に濁りがみられ、細胞死を意味している。スケールバーは100マイクロメートル（0.1ミリメートル）。本画像は、科学誌eLifeに発表された研究論文に掲載の画像。
