The red rectangles numbered 1 and 2 indicate horizontal projections of the fault model for interplate coupling. The number 3 red rectangle indicates the horizontal projection of the fault model for slippage that occurred during the L-SSE. The arrows and strain fields show the spatial distribution for identical slippage gained from the results of each fault model.
