View from the OCEANET-Atmosphere container. In the foreground on the container roof: on the left the glass hatch of the lidar, in the back the radar and on the right two devices for measuring radiation. In the background on the horizon: Neumayer III Station on the left and the trace substance observatory on the right. The two containers outside the polar station are probably among the loneliest workplaces in German research worldwide.
