Reflecting on Polyphenols Applications 2023

Last year's congress, the 16th edition, showcased an impressive array of topics, receiving over 120 presentations. Topics ranged from the health impacts of polyphenols to their roles in food and interaction with microbiota.   • Best Scientific Contribution Award: Dr. Tiffany Weir, Colorado State University, USA, for her work on "Interaction of Polyphenol with Microbiomes & The Future of Nutrition."
  • Best Short Oral Presentation Award: Dr. Charareh Pourzand, University of Bath, United Kingdom, for her research on "Hydroxycinnamic Acid Derivatives in Protecting Skin Cells from UVA Damage."
  • Best Poster Presentation Display: Dr. Samuele Venturi, Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, for his study on "Analyzing Wild Blueberry Drink's Impact on Vascular Health."
