IADR announces winners of the 2024 IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Awards

International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research

Alexandria, VA, USA – The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) has announced six recipients of the 2024 IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Awards. The recipients were recognized during the Opening Ceremonies of the 102nd General Session of the IADR, which was held in conjunction with the 53rd Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research and the 48th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research, on March 13-16, 2024, in New Orleans, LA.

The recipients are:

  • Luana Mendonça Dias, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada
  • Charlotte Guillouet, Université Paris Cité, France
  • Bree Jones, University of Melbourne, Australia
  • Hélvis Paz, State University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Jinwen Wang, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, USA
  • Randa Yassin, Alexandria University, Egypt

Supported by Colgate-Palmolive Company, the IADR Colgate Research in Prevention Travel Awards encourage young investigators to undertake research in the prevention of oral diseases and to facilitate their presentation of this work to the international dental and oral health research community. Awardees received a travel stipend to attend the IADR/AADOCR/CADR General Session & Exhibition and a commemorative plaque.
