The XXIX Brazilian Congress of Nutrology – CBN 2025 (link: https://abran.org.br/cbn2025/) promises to be a milestone in the health sector, being the main event dedicated to Nutrology in all of Latin America. This exceptional meeting will bring together renowned national and international experts, providing an environment conducive to the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge, the promotion of scientific innovation and the stimulation of integration among nutrology professionals.
Scheduled for September 25, 26 and 27, CBN 2025 will take place at the prestigious Frei Caneca Convention Center, strategically located in one of the most accessible and vibrant areas of the city of São Paulo.
More than 3,500 participants are expected at this edition of CBN, made up of professionals eager to update their knowledge and network. In addition, more than 60 leading companies and prominent brands in the nutritional area will be present at the Exhibition Pavilion, offering unique opportunities for interaction and access to the latest news in the sector.
The CBN is promoted by the Brazilian Association of Nutrology – ABRAN, an entity with half a century of history dedicated to strengthening and continuously promoting nutrology in Brazil, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and the evolution of this essential medical specialty.
Abstracts must be submitted through the form available on the website, which includes the following items: information of the first author, co-authors’ information, affiliated institution, title of the work, and the abstract itself (maximum of 2,500 characters including spaces). Submissions through any other means will not be accepted. Abstracts must be written in Portuguese and follow the Vancouver style.
The submission deadline is September 2, 2025.

The decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of submissions is the sole responsibility of the Organizing Committee and is final. All accepted abstracts will be published in the proceedings of the XXIX Brazilian Congress of Nutrology, which will receive an internationally registered DOI number and will be indexed in renowned international databases such as Elsevier/Scopus, Embase, and SCImago Journal Rank.
Among the accepted submissions, 10 original works will be selected for oral presentation and may also be eligible for publication in the International Journal of Nutrology (link: https://ijn.zotarellifilhoscientificworks.com/index.php/ijn), following a peer-review process, MetaScience Press (link: https://zotarellifilhoscientificworks.com/) being the responsible publisher, Case reports and literature reviews will not be considered for this presentation format.
The authors of the 10 best works will receive an international certificate of publication from the International Journal of Nutrology. These certificates will be announced during the congress.
This year, in addition to publication in the official proceedings and the potential publication of the top 10 works in the International Journal of Nutrology, other congress participants with accepted abstracts may also have their articles published in an international scientific journal partnered with ABRAN – the MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences (link: https://mednext.zotarellifilhoscientificworks.com/index.php/mednext).
