With the theme “Bridging Two Frontiers: Mitochondria & Microbiota”, the program will explore how EVs—nanoscale messengers released by virtually all cell types—impact mitochondrial function and microbiota–host communication. These intersections offer new opportunities for diagnostics, targeted drug delivery, regenerative medicine, and disease prevention.

Highlights include keynote lectures from world-renowned experts, sessions on EV biogenesis, isolation, characterization, and therapeutic development, as well as an innovation showcase spotlighting novel tools and platforms.

By connecting mitochondria and microbiota through the lens of extracellular vesicles, we’re opening two strategic gateways in medicine. This conference is about building bridges between disciplines to accelerate scientific and clinical progress,” said Dr. Consuelo Borrás and Dr. Marvin Edeas, Conference Chairs.

Researchers, clinicians, and industry innovators are invited to submit abstracts and innovation proposals for oral presentations, poster sessions, and technology showcases.

Abstract deadline: September 10, 2025
