The international scientific and technological journal FlexTech, co-launched by Tsinghua University Press and Wiley, officially released its 2025 Issue 2. Supported academically by the State Key Laboratory of Flexible Electronics Technology at Tsinghua University, the journal focuses on the field of flexible technology. It aims to build a global communication platform for scholars, promote cutting-edge research and engineering applications of flexible materials, devices, and systems, and contribute to the advancement of human society toward the intelligent era.
FlexTech (ISSN 2771-1706), initiated in 2024, adopts an Open Access model. Its core focus covers "New materials, Creative structures, Original integrating strategies, Innovative fabrication methods, and Pioneering applications" in flexible technology. The latest 2025 Issue 2 (Volume 1, Issue 2) was formally published in June 2025.

Basic Information
FlexTech is a new international academic journal sponsored by Tsinghua University. It receives academic support from the State Key Laboratory of Flexible Electronics Technology (Tsinghua University), is edited and published by Tsinghua University Press, and distributed overseas by Wiley.
Editorial Team: Professor Xue Feng (Tsinghua University) serves as the Editor-in-Chief. The Associate Editors include Professor Chwee Teck Lim (National University of Singapore), Professor Young Min Song (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea), and Professor Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh (The University of Sydney, Australia). The Advisory Board members include Professor John A. Rogers and Professor Yonggang Huang (both from Northwestern University, USA).

3. Scope of Submissions
FlexTech welcomes original manuscripts in the following areas (and interdisciplinary explorations beyond these topics):
- Advanced materials, soft materials, and biomimetic soft materials for flexible devices
- Flexible, stretchable, and conformal structural designs for flexible devices
- Novel manufacturing methods for flexible devices and systems
- Emerging applications of flexible technology (e.g., in healthcare, industrial manufacturing, smart wearables)
- Computational methods and artificial intelligence for flexible technology
The journal particularly encourages submissions that present innovative ideas, critical thinking, and profound insights into the field. All manuscripts will undergo strict peer review to ensure compliance with the highest academic standards.
4. Submission Requirements
Originality: Manuscripts must be original research that has not been previously published in any other journal or conference proceedings. They must be free from academic misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication). Supporting materials (such as experimental data, research methods, and validation reports) must be provided to verify the authenticity and reliability of the research.
