The “Bilingual Communication Project for Chinese STM Journals” thoroughly implements General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on accelerating the development of world-class STM journals, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and anchored in the strategic direction of building a leading global science and technology powerhouse. Focusing on enhancing both the academic influence and communication service capabilities of China’s STM journals, the project relies on outstanding Chinese and English STM journals from initiatives such as the China Excellence Action Plan for STM Journals and the National Society Journal Publishing Capacity Enhancement Plan. It carries out English-Chinese two-way translation of long abstracts or structured papers from high-quality articles, with the results made freely available to scientific professionals worldwide. This not only facilitates the international dissemination of China’s research achievements, but also builds an efficient bridge for academic exchange between China and other countries, propelling the high-quality development of China’s STM journals into a new stage.
CNPIEC Kexin Technology Co., Ltd has undertaken the translation, editing, and online promotion of the long abstracts in this project for four consecutive years. This year, a total of 4,038 long abstracts from 292 journals have been selected and are currently being published in succession on the “Innovation China” platform.
This bilingual long abstract project has been primarily carried out by our Product Operations Department. We have developed an integrated service capability that encompasses Chinese-English mutual translation of academic literature, long abstract content editing and processing, publication, and international dissemination. We have already established bilingual cooperation with 443 academic journals and have published a total of 12,659 bilingual long abstracts, which is promoting the international dissemination of academic achievements.
