The Hospital Pharmacy Research Summit & Face-to-Face with SCI Journal Editors/Publisher, organized by the China Medical Education Association (CMEA) , was held on May 30, 2026 at Hangzhou Zhongwei Xiangyi Hotel. Chaired by Prof. Haibin Dai, the event featured discussions on research mindset, academic writing, submission strategies, and research integrity, beginning with his opening address.
Moderated by Mr. Yan Xu (Compuscript) , Prof. Haijin Dai (Precision Medication) and Prof. Yan Xu gave presentations. Mr. Jianhua Wu then moderated talks by Prof. Zhesheng Chen (Drug Resistance Updates) and Prof. Yuwei Wang (Current Drug Metabolism). Mr. Yongxin Wang moderated presentations by Prof. Yin Liu (Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B) and Prof. Guixia Ling (Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences). Ms. Na Wang moderated the session featuring Ms. Jue Zhou (Current Pharmaceutical Analysis & Current Molecular Pharmacology) and Dr. Lisa Clancy (Compuscript) .
Ms. Jue Zhou, on behalf of Current Pharmaceutical Analysis & Current Molecular Pharmacology, delivered a talk titled "What Makes a 'Good Paper' in the Eyes of an SCI Editor." From the perspective of initial review and editorial decision-making, she systematically elaborated on how editors evaluate manuscript quality, including core standards for high-quality pharmaceutical papers, writing norms for each section, key points in initial review, common reasons for rejection, and practical case-based tips to avoid pitfalls in writing and submission.
Finally moderated by Mr. Haibao Xue, a panel discussion took place, followed by closing remarks from Prof. Haibin Dai. The event successfully bridged hospital pharmacy researchers with international journals, boosting the academic quality and global impact of pharmaceutical research.
