Established in 2025, the Gustave Roussy Prize is awarded each year to a leading figure in oncology research whose scientific discoveries in the fields of diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of cancer have significantly improved patient care or contributed to a better understanding of the disease.

The Gustave Roussy Prize highlights innovation and scientific commitment for a tangible and lasting benefit to patients, in full alignment with Gustave Roussy’s mission: to cure more patients, more effectively and sustainably.

With an endowment of €200,000, the Gustave Roussy Prize is among the most generously funded awards worldwide in the field of cancer research.

Researchers of all nationalities and affiliations are invited to submit their application before August 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. CEST via the online application form.

Applications will be reviewed by an independent jury of international experts, based on criteria of scientific excellence and clinical impact, without distinction of discipline or institutional affiliation.
