Neuroprosthetic Device Tells Bladder when to 'Go'

image: Researchers have developed a neuroprosthetic system to artificially control the bladder. The device uses unique microtechnology neural implants to record bladder sensation and provide electrical input to nerves to stimulate or block urination. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the Nov. 6, 2013, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by Dr. D.J.
