印度尼西亚森林火的健康影响

使用在1997年到1998年出生的560名印度尼西亚儿童的纵贯数据，科研人员报告说，出生前暴露于1997年印度尼西亚森林大火的空气污染中，与17岁时候的身高减少有关联，这提示了长期、不可逆的健康影响；这组作者说，一项考虑到了这类影响到成本效益分析提示，印度尼西亚应当继续坚持相对廉价的政策，诸如火灾探测和抑制，以及更严格执行禁止基于火的森林清伐。
