喜马拉雅地区冬虫夏草的减少

在过去10年中对喜马拉雅地区的800多名冬虫夏草采集者的采访中，多数受访者报告了虫草产量的下降，他们越来越多地把这归结为过度采集；生态模型表明了不利于真菌生产的冬季温度上升出现在真菌栖息地各地，这提示了气候与收获压力的组合使冬虫夏草的可持续性陷于危险。
