The two images on the left are the raw images captured on the camera sensor. They are formed by the metalens and are blurred slightly differently. From these two images, the depth of the objects is computed in real time. The image on the right shows the computed depth map. view more

科研人员开发了一种紧凑、轻量级的深度传感器,其灵感来自于跳蛛的眼睛,跳蛛在导航和抓住猎物的时候使用最小数量的计算用于深度感知;这组作者说,这种深度传感器把多功能超透镜、超薄纳米光子学部件以及一个优化的图像处理算法结合起来,比此前的被动人工深度传感器所需的计算更少,而且为将来把深度感知能力整合到微型机器人、可吃和可穿戴装置之中铺平了道路。
