阿兹海默病、神经炎症与癫痫发作

科研人员报告说，在一项使用一种阿兹海默病小鼠模型的研究中，与对照组相比，缺乏促炎性细胞因子IL18的小鼠遇到了癫痫活动增加导致的死亡率增加，并且表现出了兴奋性突触蛋白表达的增加、树突棘密度增加，以及基底兴奋性突触传递的增加，这提示瞄准单个细胞因子的阿兹海默病疗法可能具有意料之外的有害副作用。
