麻疹免疫接种运动的时机

科研人员研究了巴基斯坦2012年到2017年之间的27,551例疑似麻诊病例，从而建立了一个麻疹传播模型，并且使用该模型预测了2018年到2021年之间的免疫接种运动的影响；由于巴基斯坦从5月到10月是麻疹传播低的季节，与在1月进行的一场免疫接种运动相比，在11月进行的一场免疫接种运动将会阻止估计约40多万例感染，这组作者说，这提示免疫接种运动的成功受到传播季节的影响。
