对格陵兰的拥有相当于能让全球海平面上升1.1米的冰的Zachariae Isstr�m和 Nioghalvfjerdsfjorden冰川的一项研究发现,自从2012年开始的Zachariae Isstr�m冰川的冰架崩溃和质量迅速流失��这是在处于相同气候中的Nioghalvfjerdsfjorden冰川相对稳定的时候发生的��可能归因于自从1979年以来已经变暖了1.3摄氏度的亚表面海水接近了前一个冰川而非后一个冰川的接地线,即海底-冰川-水的界面,正如冰-海洋相互作用建模所模拟的那样。
