液晶单体的生物积累

一项研究发现，根据液晶单体的耐老化以及环境流动性，目前在液晶显示器（LCDs）中使用的362种液晶单体（LCMs）中的87种有潜力持续存在而且是生物积累的，让胚胎鸡细胞暴露于6个液晶显示器的液晶单体混合物之中，改变了基因表达，其方式类似于其他持久存在的有机污染物，而且几种液晶单体可以在室内灰尘样本中检测到。
