image: The Multiprogrammatic Capability Resource supercomputer is a large and fast (11.2 teraflop) tightly coupled Linux cluster, containing 1,152 nodes, each with two 2.4-GHz Pentium 4 Xeon processors and 4 gigabytes of memory. MCR runs the LLNL CHAOS software environment, which incorporates the Red Hat Linux operating system. view more
