Light Wave-Particle Weirdness (3 of 6)

image: The quantum photonic chip used to test wave-particle duality in the Bristol experiment. Single photons are sent into the circuit using optical fibers, and are detected at the output using extremely sensitive detectors. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the Nov. 2, 2012, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Alberto Peruzzo, Peter Shadbolt, and colleagues at the University of Bristol in Bristol, UK, was titled, "A Quantum Delayed-Choice Experiment." view more
